Sometimes residents need to move from one unit to another, during their lease. It’s important to ensure that their coverage moves with them.
How to edit a renter’s unit number:
- Log into your Rhino Portal.
- Send the resident an invitation for the updated unit.
- Contact our support team, or claims, to advise whether claims will be filed on the original policy.
- The original policy can be cancelled once the new coverage is in place.
Note: Claims can be filed on a policy for up to 60 days after lease end.
The unit number listed on a policy cannot be changed once the resident occupies that unit.
If a resident changes units during their lease, they will need to complete a new policy, with the original policy being canceled
