Cash Deposits Overview
Cash Deposit vs. Rhino + Jetty Security Deposit Alternative
- Cash Deposit: Refundable at the end of your lease, depending on move-out conditions and any deductions.
- Rhino + Jetty Security Deposit Alternative: Non-refundable —it is an insurance premium, not a deposit.
Depending on how your property manager’s setup, your deposit may be held in one of two ways:
Deposit Held by Rhino + Jetty
Your deposit will appear as "Active" in your Renter Portal.
At the end of your lease, your property manager will complete move-out actions and apply any deductions. Once finalized, your deposit will be marked as "Closed" and you can request to withdraw your remaining balance.
How to Withdraw Your Deposit:
- Log in at sayrhino.com
- Click your name in the upper-right corner and select “Account”
- Navigate to your Renter Action Center
- Select “Withdraw Deposit”
- Enter the required information
- Click “Transfer Money” to submit your request
Why Was My Deposit Withheld?
- If part or all of your deposit has been withheld, it may be due to:
- Property damage
- Unpaid rent
- Lease-related charges
- We do not make decisions regarding deposit deductions — these are handled entirely by your property manager. For details or disputes, you’ll need to reach out to them directly.
Deposit Held by Your Property Manager
Your deposit will appear as "Closed" in your Renter Portal.
We transfer funds to your property manager's designated account after payment and do not hold or manage the funds after that point. For refund status and timeline, contact your property manager directly.
