My property's cash deposits are held by Rhino

To locate your renter’s cash deposits, login to your Rhino portal and select the “Cash Deposits” tab.

Cash Deposit Statuses

  • “Funded” - Rhino is holding the funds on your behalf.
  • “Payment initiated” -  Renter's ACH payment is processing
  • “Verifying bank, payment failed, or awaiting check” - Renter action required.
  • “Closed” - The deposit is closed and funds were made available for withdrawal.

How to Close a Renter’s Cash Deposit

Before your renter can withdraw their deposit, you will need to close the deposit via your Rhino Portal.

Please follow these easy steps to close the deposit:

  1. Login into your Rhino Partner Portal at sayrhino.com
  2. Click the “Deposits” tab
  3. Locate and click on your renter’s name
  4. A tab will open and you will see the option to “Create Withholding” or “Close Deposit”
  5. Select the appropriate option and follow the prompts
  6. Once you have completed this process, the renter will be able to log into their Rhino Renter Portal and withdraw the funds.

How to Withdraw Withheld Funds

In order to receive withheld deposit funds, you will need to submit a withdrawal request from the “Deposit Funds” tab.

  1. Login into your Rhino Partner Portal at sayrhino.com
  2. Select “Deposit Funds” tab 
  3. Select “+Withdraw Funds” to create an withdrawal request
  4. Fill out request form and add banking information
  5. Select “Confirm”
  6. Once completed, the request will populate on the left side of the screen, showing the “Withdraw Amount,” “Date Requested,” and Completion Status

How Renters Withdraw Closed Deposits

  • The remaining deposit amount that is not withheld by the property, will be available for the renter to withdraw from their Renter Portal 
  • An email will be sent to the renter notifying them that their deposit is available to withdraw from their Rhino Portal
    • Renters will need to login to their Rhino Portal
    • Select “Withdraw Deposit” from Overview Page
  • Withdrawals take 5-10 business days to reach the renter’s bank account
