In order to purchase Rhino's renters insurance, you must enroll or be currently enrolled with Rhino security deposit insurance. If renters insurance is offered for your property in addition to security deposit insurance, you can purchase renters insurance when you enroll in security deposit insurance, or you can add renters insurance from your existing Rhino account.
How to add on required Renters Insurance at enrollment:
When fulfilling your security deposit option, you may be provided the option to enroll in renters insurance during sign-up, (if applicable).
You also may have the option to self-report your renters insurance requirement. If asked if your property manager requires renters insurance, please answer the question yes or no.
How to add required Renters Insurance to an existing security deposit insurance policy:
If you don’t enroll in renters insurance during signup, you can enroll after sign up.
Visit your Renter Dashboard and click "See pricing" under "Get renters insurance", or navigate to the My Policies tab and click “Get covered now" under “Need renters insurance?”.
If your property manager requires renters insurance, you will see a “Lease Requirement” tag.
After clicking “Get covered now”, you will receive a personalized quote on your renters insurance policy.
