How do I file a claim for Renters Insurance?
The process for filing a claim depends on which provider services your policy.

Before You File
Regardless of your provider, having supporting documentation ready will help your claim get processed faster. This includes photos, videos, and police reports where applicable.
If your policy is serviced by Cover Genius
File a claim directly through the Cover Genius portal at xcover.com. For coverage or claims questions contact Cover Genius at support@xcover.com.
Generally, it takes around 1–2 business days for the team to begin reviewing your claim. You will be updated every step of the way and contacted directly with any updates or requests for additional information. Once settled, you can expect reimbursement shortly afterward.
If your policy is serviced by Lemonade

What to Expect After Filing Your Claim
