How to Cancel a Rhino Policy

There are 2 ways to cancel a Rhino policy. 

  • Renter Initiated
  • Partner Initiated

Renter Initiated Cancellation

  • The renter must login to their Rhino portal to submit a cancellation request 
  • Once submitted, an email will be sent to the Property Manager user associated with the property
  • The Property Manager will be navigated to the Rhino portal to Accept or Deny the Cancellation Request
  • The Property Manager will have 7 business days to Accept or Deny the request. If no action is taken, the policy will be automatically canceled, and any eligible refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days back to the renter.

Partner Initiated Cancellation 

  • Please contact Rhino Support using the Support Widget in Portal specifying:
    •  the reason for cancellation 
    • and the effective date.
  • The Support team will issue the cancellation on your behalf and an email will be sent notifying the renter. 

Cancellation Denials

  • Cancellation denials are initiated by the property manager. 
    • Rhino does not deny cancellation requests. Rhinos Support will only deny a cancel request if advised to do so by a property manager. 
  • If a cancellation request is denied, the renter cannot resubmit a new cancellation request.
  • A property manager will need to contact Rhino Support to manually cancel the policy.
