Inviting residents to apply for Renter Guarantee
The steps to invite a resident depend on how your property is set up in the Rhino + Jetty portal.
Note: Some tabs are only available to integrated partners. If you’re not sure whether your property is integrated, contact our support team.
Step 1: Check Your Invitation Setup
- Log in to at sayrhino.com
- Check whether you have an Invitations tab on the left side
If you have the Invitations tab (non-integrated partners):
Renter Guarantee invitations follow the same process as Security Deposit Alternative. When entering the coverage amount, adjust it to align with your property's coverage requirement.
- Click “Invitations” on the left side of the page.
- Select “Send Invitation”
- Enter the resident's email address, rental address, and unit number
- Enter the lease dates, monthly rent, and coverage amount
- Click "Send Invitation"
If you use the Renters tab (integrated partners and non-integrated partners sending enrollment links):
Option 1 — Invite from an Existing Resident Record
- Navigate to the Renters tab and search for the renter you want to invite.
- Select the renter's record. A panel will appear on the right side of the screen.
- Note that Deposit Alternative will be pre-selected. Click "Switch or Edit Product Offer."
- If needed, update the lease dates and rent amount, then proceed to the next page.
- Select Renter Guarantee if not already selected, then fill in the renter's personal information.
- On the next page, enter the renter's citizenship, employment, and income information.
- Select the appropriate coverage option and submit. The renter will receive an email with a link to complete their application.
Option 2 — Send an Enrollment Link
- Navigate to the Renters tab and click "Send Enrollment Link" in the top right corner.
- Enter the renter's email address and property address. If a matching record is found, the renter's name and address will populate automatically.
- If needed, update the lease dates and monthly rent amount, then proceed to the next page.
- Select Renter Guarantee if not already selected, then fill in the renter's personal information.
- On the next page, enter the renter's citizenship, employment, and income information.
- Select the appropriate coverage option and click "Send Enrollment Link." The renter will receive an email with a link to complete their application.
