Renewing a Rhino Security Deposit Insurance policy
If you have a Rhino policy and plan to renew your lease you can also renew your Rhino coverage. We will typically notify you 90, 60 and 45 days before your policy is set to expire. However, you can renew your coverage at any point within these 90 days.
Rhino policies are also set to renew automatically, as long as you are up to date on your payments and you have no outstanding claims on your policy.
Do Rhino policies automatically renew?
Yes. Your policy will automatically renew 15 days before your lease end date, unless you have already manually renewed or opted out of your renewal.
How to manually renew a Rhino policy:
- Log into your account.
- Look for a notification on your policy, showing the auto-renew date
- Select the Renew Now option from the prompt.
- Input the monthly rent and lease dates for your new coverage.
- Select Submit.
- You will be quoted your price for renewal.
- Click Submit and pay.
What happens if my payment fails?
Payments will be retried up to 3 times prior to your policy expiration date or you may also log in to your online account to submit your payment. If your payment is not successful prior to your policy expiration date, your current policy will not renew and once expired, cannot be reinstated. If your policy expires, you will need to reach out to your property manager for a new invitation to enroll or to seek additional deposit options.
