Rhino Portal is Getting a Refresh

Say hello to a fresh new look. We're upgrading Portal to be cleaner, faster, and easier to navigate. The tools, actions, and information you use today is where you need it, just better dressed. Same insights, sharper experience.

What’s New?

Top Bar and Left Navigation

Links to Support, Settings, and your Account have moved to the top right of the screen, while the left navigation panel now prioritizes certain sections of Portal and moves lesser-used links to the Portal Tools section. 

Global Search

We’ve consolidated Search into one bar at the top of Portal so you can find any invite, policy or claim associated with a resident from one place. You can search by name, email address, policy or claim number. 

Member Account View

Looking for all the details related to one resident? Select the new ‘Member’ record returned in Search to visit their Member Account page, which will show you all their invites, policies, claims, and other information in one place. Click any row on the page to be taken directly to that record.  

Policies and Claims Layout

View more records in a simpler, consolidated layout. 

  • Click on any row to view additional Details of the policy/claim. 
  • Click the 3 dots on the far right of any row to quickly navigate to an associated claim, policy, or member account record. You can also quickly start filing a claim!

Basic Filters

  • We’ve moved basic filters to the top of the table 
  • New Issues filter: What was previously visible in banners (cancellation requests, policy edit and claims filing windows, etc.) is now included as an Issue that can be filtered on. Singular issues are displayed in table and if there are multiple Issues on a policy, hover to see more. 

Quick Filters

Find the policy or claim records that require your action or attention with one click.  

Policies

  • Action Required - Filters to active policies with a Cancellation Request pending. Reminder, after 7 days, cancellation requests are automatically approved, so be sure to keep an eye on the Action Required button, which will show you the number of requests you have pending.
  • At Risk - These policies are worth keeping an eye on as they are either at risk of not renewing or have chosen not to renew. Follow up with renters who have indicated they want to pay you a cash deposit instead of continuing with Rhino, or who are behind on policy premium owed to Rhino, which would cause them to be denied a renewal offer. 
  • Policies Ending Soon - Automatically filters to policies ending within the next 90 days, but you can edit the Coverage End basic filter to review your policies expiring at any time. 
  • Claims Window Expiring - Don’t miss your 60-day claim filing window! See what policies only have 15 days left to file a claim, and see the exact last day to file by hovering over the 'Issue' 

Claims

  • Action Required - Filters to claims that our Claims team requires your feedback on. Click on any record to view Notes on the claim detail and then check your inbox for a way to reply directly to the team.
  • Approved Claims - Filters to all claims that have been Accepted and/or Paid. Note: A claim’s status will not transition to Paid until funds have left Rhino and are confirmed to be headed your way!
  • Denied Claims - Filters to all claims that have either been Withdrawn or Denied due to exhaustion of policy coverage or supporting documentation. 

We’re so excited for you to explore and use the refreshed Portal. You’ll notice some pages look exactly the same as before - Invitations, Residents, details pages, etc., but we’re continuing to make improvements and will let you know as they are released!
