Portal Tab Breakdown

Note: Some tabs are only available to integrated partners (properties using Yardi, RealPage, etc.). If you're not sure whether your property is integrated, contact our support team.

  • Invitations (if enabled) — Send and view all resident invitations
  • Residents (integrated partners only) — View resident information pulled from your property management system, including whether each resident is eligible to apply for Security Deposit Alternative.
  • Renters (integrated partners using invitations and non-integrated partners) — end enrollment links to residents applying for Security Deposit Alternative or Renter Guarantee.
    • For information on what an invitation status means, refer to Inviting Your Resident to Apply — Security Deposit Alternative article.
  • Policies — View all active resident policies. Select a policy to see leasing and coverage details. If the policy is within the 14-day adjustment window, certain details can be edited. Renters insurance information appears at the bottom of each policy card.
    • To find the status of a policy:
      • Log in at portal.sayrhino.com
      • Select Policies from the left-hand column
      • Select Filter in the top right
      • Under Policy Details, filter by status
    • Policy Statuses
      • Active: Your resident's policy is currently active and providing coverage
      • Upcoming: Your resident's policy has recently renewed and coverage will begin on a future date. The current policy shows as Active while the renewal shows as Upcoming. This does not indicate duplicate coverage.
      • Expired: The lease end date has passed and your resident's coverage is no longer active
      • Canceled: Your resident's policy was canceled prior to the lease end date
  • Cash Deposits (if enabled) — View and manage resident cash deposits. If funds are held by Rhino + Jetty, you can close deposits and submit withholdings here.
  • Withdraw Deposit Funds — Property Manager Administrators can withdraw funds held by Rhino + Jetty and track which deposits have been paid out.
  • Claims — File new claims and track the status of existing ones.
  • Properties View all properties you have been assigned to. New properties can also be added from this section.
  • Policyholders Policyholder information is managed in this section. This is the entity to whom Rhino will make claim payments.
